RELYANT Global Awarded $1 Million Sewer Replacement Contract with CENTCOM

Knoxville, TN, April 30, 2014.   On May 18th RELYANT Global was awarded a $1,000,000 contract from the Regional Contracting Center – Bagram Airfield (BAF) to reconstruct the Sanitary Sewer Collection System at BAF. This system was originally built and installed by another vendor; however, the 200 Manhole, approximately 7,780m of sanitary sewer pipeline, and 4 lift station system is not functional, and a total rehab is required. RELYANT Global will bring the system to operational capacity with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. As the Prime Construction Contractor, RELYANT Global is tasked with providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and all other items and services necessary to fulfill the contract. The period of performance for this contract is slated for completion before the end of the 2014 calendar year.

RELYANT Global’s President John Poncy, a former US Army Airborne Ranger and Infantry Officer, believes that this is further evidence of RELYANT Global’s growing reputation for providing exemplary service no matter how challenging the environment or the project. “We charge our employees with getting up every day and surpassing the managed expectations that we work with our clients to agree upon.  We want our clients to expect a level of operational excellence which sets the standard for any and all work performed by our organization.  The BAF Sewer Project represents unique challenges and a level of attention to detail from the RFP response to implementation which we have thus far been able to set the standard on.  It is our mandate to keep that high standard all the way to project completion.  You can bet that we will.”
