Executive Bio – Jack MacRae

Jack MacraeCFO / VP Risk and Administrative Services

Mr. MacRae is a principal and CFO/VP of Risk and Administrative Services of RELYANT, LLC, a veteran-owned international company offering mission sustaining services to its clients in austere and challenging environments. Mr. MacRae is responsible for the corporate support and administrative functions of the company to include finance, accounting, and treasury; risk management, compliance, legal and contract management; human resources, information technology and office administration. His primary emphasis is upon the development and management of value-add processes and activities that directly contribute to the sustainability and growth of the company and the integration of its operations and support functions.

As a principal executive, Mr. MacRae is also intimately involved in the development and execution of strategic planning including the development of capitalization strategies to support the company’s accelerating growth. He acts as a corporate sponsor in significant company initiatives and relationships.

Business Experience

Jack joins RELYANT from Safety and Ecology Corporation where he participated as a member of the company’s executive team for 14 years. He had diverse and increasing responsibilities within SEC that paralleled the organization’s rapid growth, domestically and internationally.  His roles ranged from general counsel, management of corporate operations, and an assignment abroad as the managing director of the company’s UK subsidiary.  His tenure concluded with responsibilities as chief financial officer and management of international operations.

Prior to SEC, MacRae was a practicing attorney with nationally and regionally recognized law firms.  He started his career as a field artillery officer with the US Army.

Education

Jack received his B.A. in Political Science (minor equivalent in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs) from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and through Army ROTC at Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio was commissioned a Second Lieutenant, in U.S. Army Field Artillery. After his military service, Jack attended the University of Tennessee (UT), College of Law where he earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence, graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving the Order of the Coif. In 2002, Jack also earned a Masters of Business Administration from UT.
