Al-Anbar Province Vehicle Maintenance
Name of Project: Al-Anbar Province Vehicle Maintenance
Location of Project: Al-Asad, Iraq
Customer: Joint Contracting Command-Iraq
Project Dates: Start: June, 2007; completed July, 2008
Relyant provided life support, logistical support and complete project management for fleet vehicle maintenance to the Al Anbar Provincial fleet. We provided convoy, and personnel security operations for MSTC-I approved, Mobile Maintenance Teams. Relyant successfully completed over 85 mobile maintenance missions, repairing over 250 vehicles at 47 outlying FOBs throughout Iraq. Our personnel and convoy security teams enabled Relyant to prepare maintenance capabilities in less than 30 days, and construction of an 11,000sqft vehicle maintenance facility in less than 90 days. We also provided power via grid connection to city power in Baghdad, with emergency power generation back up.
RELYANT completed scheduled, unscheduled, on call, and parts services for the Iraq MOI vehicle fleet in the Al Anbar region. On call vehicles were serviced in the field, with protection from RELYANT security and convoy security services. Certain of these vehicles required extensive maintenance. RELYANT convoy security teams transported vehicle parts, maintenance personnel, and life support supplies from primary ports of entry into Iraq, to Al Asad Air Base, and Camp Fallujah. Convoy teams were fully certified with USCENTCOM arming authority, and completed movements on a daily basis.
