Project Dates: Start: September 2008 - Ongoing
General Scope of Project: Relyant is currently providing the US Forces in Afghanistan with re-locatable, modular buildings (RLBs). The first delivery order is for manufacture, delivery, construction and installation of 15 RLBs. Individual RLB modules are manufactured to the Governments standard design, for ease of relocation, and reconfiguration for new missions. Mixing and matching of components allows RLB facility size and capability to be tailored to each locations specific use requirements. Manufacturing is done in country by our Afghan subcontractor, and in Bagram and Sharana. RELYANT turnkey project management includes all labor, materials, tools equipment, logistics, transportation, temporary power generators, communications, expertise, supervision, and other items and services needed for execution of the SOW.
Relyant is the Prime contractor for this project. We are self-performing all project management, logistics, and temporary power generation functions.
Extent and Type of Work Subcontracted Out: Manufacturing of the RLB modules is subcontracted to our in-country Afghan supplier. RELYANT is also maximizing local procurement of materials and supplies consistent with safety, quality and security.
